SUMMER FUNK is the annual summer dance workshop event.

The SUMMER FUNK SHOW was first held in Mumbai in 1994 and this year we celebrate its 15th year!!!

It is a "one of a kind" dance training program for students teaching various dance styles like Jazz, Hip Hop, Rock N Roll, Afro Jazz, Salsa, Shiamak's Indo Jazz and Shiamak's Bollywood Jazz.

During the workshop students (Kids - 4 to 6 years, Juniors - 7 to 11 years and Adults - 12 and above) are taught a complete dance routine and trained in the various disciplines of stage performance.

The Summer Funk show is the grand finale to the Summer Workshop. The students enjoy a complete "performing arts" experience - the excitement, rehearsals, costume trials, team work, discipline, professionalism and most of all performance on stage.

There is a sense of fulfillment in seeing kids who can barely manage a graceful walk, move with refined passion as they perform like stars!.
