What is Summer Funk?
Ans: Summer Funk is an Annual Summer workshop which ends in a grand stage finale. The main reason for the Summer Workshop and shows is to give every student an opportunity to perform on stage the experience what professionals do - the excitement, the rehearsals, the costume trials, team work, professionalism, discipline and most of all performance.

Do we get a certificate ?
Ans: Yes. Certificate will be given to students who will perform at the Summer Funk shows.

Will we perform at a show at the end of the course?
Ans: SDIPA organises a show with the students only at the end of the Annual Summer Workshop.

Will we perform shows with Shiamak Davar after we complete our course? Can we join the Shiamak Davar Dance Company after we finish our course?
Ans: Shiamak Davar selects dancers personally for his "Dance Company". Potential dancers may be advised additional training and asked to attend more classes. Only Shiamak selects these dancers who are then put on special training / probation before they can actually perform with the "Dance Company" and / or train to become Assistants / Instructors.

What is the parents participation in Summer Funk shows?
Ans: Parents of Children below age of 12 come together to discuss the proceedings of the show and help in several ways such as designingsponsorships, etc.
