Shiamak Davar is the pioneer of modern and contemporary dance in India. With Shiamak Davar's Institute for the Performing Arts, India he has spread the joy of dance to the young and the young at heart all over India. Over the past two decades, having enthralled audiences all over the world with his theatrical stage performances and with his productions, Shiamak has set very high standards in the entertainment industry in India and is one of the most sought after creative visualizer today. Shiamak is the face of modern India and has represented the country with his spectacular performances at the Closing Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne (2006) and also at the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland) .

With his motto- Have Feet .Will Dance Have Spirit. Will Triumph and after his credible success in India, he ventured abroad and now through Shiamak Davar International (Canada) Inc. or (SDI), his dance classes are conducted for kids and adults in Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary.and Ottawa

In the past, SDI has presented "Sole 2 Soul in March 2007 and July 2008 performed by the Shiamak's Bollywood Jazz Dance team in Vancouver, which met with grand success and appreciation, a full house and had the audience asking for a comeback of the production. "Sole 2 Soul" showcased dance pieces in Shiamak's Indo Jazz, Shiamak's Bollywood Jazz Dance styles and Shiamak's Yoga- Inner Dance Movement.

This year, Shiamak Davar International (Canada) Inc. presents "Stars of Bollywood" that will showcase extravagant pieces depicting the drama, song and dance of Bollywood- also known as the world's largest movie industry. This dance extravaganza will showcase a vibrant display of the energy, colour and fun of Indian cinema by showcasing famous songs and dance pieces from the films of legendary actors through the ages.
